Digital Communication
Agricultural information can be extensive, technical and difficult to navigate when users need practical answers.
The challenge was to organise specialist knowledge into a digital experience that made information easier to discover and use across topics such as crops, animals, weather, agricultural tools and regional resources.
Extension Suite Online brought multiple areas of agricultural information together within a single digital environment.
Clear information centres gave users direct routes into subjects such as plants, animals, economics, GIS, extension services, weather, tools and regional information.
The mobile experience extended Extension Suite Online beyond the desktop, giving users access to agricultural information, weather and crop resources on smaller screens.
Manstrat's digital presence extended beyond Extension Suite Online, connecting its agricultural expertise, services and information resources through a broader web experience.
Dedicated content such as Climate Watch provided another route into Manstrat's agricultural information, connecting specialist resources with the organisation's broader digital presence.
The design challenge was not simply presenting more information. It was creating structure, hierarchy and consistency across a growing agricultural knowledge system.
Information Design
Clear categories, repeated interface patterns and focused content areas helped organise specialist agricultural information into a more understandable digital experience.
Design principles
Information was grouped into clear subject areas so users could move from broad agricultural topics toward more specific resources.
Responsive layouts helped make agricultural information available across desktop and smaller-screen experiences without losing the underlying content structure.
Repeated navigation, content and interface patterns created continuity across different areas of the wider digital ecosystem.
